What one Oklahoma City woman's journey into substance abuse recovery looks like (NewsOK)
In a Midtown meeting room, some rules of the road to recovery are written in various colors and posted near the door.
Get along. Respect others. On task. Use quiet voices. Participate. Stay in groups. On Friday morning, more than a dozen women saw the sign as they gathered at the nonprofit ReMerge center to check in, catch up and encourage each other to move forward in their journey out of drug abuse and into a new life.
Among them was Brandi Davis, a 35-year-old Oklahoma City woman whose heroin addiction, crimes and jail stays were chronicled recently in a series of stories by The Oklahoman.
